Fondation Cartier

Matthew Barney, Secondary

Case Study

The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain presents Matthew Barney’s SECONDARY in his first institutional exhibition in France for over 10 years. The video installation is presented alongside new works created especially for the occasion. To accompany the exhibition, the Fondation Cartier programs a series of unique events and performances through their Nomadic Nights series.

Pacific worked closely with the Fondation Cartier and Barney's studio to design a visual identity that scales throughout the exhibition, from the oversized graphics on the facade of building, to the smaller details of the wall labels. We designed advertising for print, OOH, digital and social as well as merchandise, VIP invitations and more.
