Pacific is a New York–based creative agency working at the intersection of design, culture, and communication. Our work engages complexity and translates it into meaningful, rigorous, and lasting stories that engage audiences and build community.

With a focus on precision, beauty, and simplicity in both design and production, we strive to create exactly as we conceive, ensuring our work retains quality for generations. We partner with brands and institutions to build identities and experiences—on and offline—that are defined by clarity, purpose, and meaningful expression.

We craft ideas that shape culture.

Approach

Our work begins with context—listening, researching, and interpreting the world around each project. We translate complexity into clear ideas and expressive systems that move across design mediums, including identity, editorial, digital, film, and environment. Guided by conceptual rigor and a belief in the cultural impact of design, we create work that elevates perception and connects global audiences to ideas that matter.

Expertise

CULTURE & INSTITUTIONS

We partner with museums, foundations, galleries, and cultural organizations to shape identities, exhibitions, editorial systems, websites, campaigns, publishing imprints, and visitor experiences that clarify mission, activate audiences, and reflect the evolving cultural landscape.

DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE

We partner with developers, architecture studios, and civic organizations to articulate vision, design identities and editorial/digital platforms, create campaigns, and develop environmental systems that define how places and spaces are experienced.

LUXURY, FASHION & HOSPITALITY

We work with brands across luxury, fashion, and hospitality to craft distinct identities, campaigns, content, and immersive experiences. Our work builds brand equity and emotional resonance for our partners, while aligning with cultural shifts and global audiences.

TECHNOLOGY, DIGITAL PROJECTS & INNOVATION

We design and develop sophisticated digital experiences—from content-rich websites and editorial platforms to interactive tools, archives, and brand ecosystems. Our work translates complex systems into intuitive, functional, and future-facing digital environments.

Publishing

Through our eponymous publishing imprint, we collaborate with the world’s leading artists and institutions to create singular publications on contemporary art, design, and culture. With a focus on precision and simplicity in design, we strive to source the best materials with a global network of printers to produce publications that retain craft and quality for generations.

Pacific’s work in publication design and production has won awards from The American Institute of Graphic Arts, the New York Type Director’s Club and the Applied Arts Award, among others. In 2022, the Museum of Modern Art Library in New York acquired the entire Pacific catalogue.

Our publishing partnerships span institutional series and indivdiual art books. For inquiries into partnering with Pacific, please email studio@pacific-pacific.com.

Our World

Pacific maintains a parallel body of work—digital projects, film and moving image, and publishing—that expands how we think, make, and engage with culture. These efforts give shape to the larger Pacific universe.

Digital

Our in-house development team creates refined and functional digital platforms for cultural and luxury partners, shaping technology with the same level of craft and intention that defines our design work.

Films

Our films move our work into the realm of image, sound, and direction—creating space to document, interpret, and narrate cultural stories in ways that feel intimate and alive.

Journal

Our journal is a digital and print space where we share our perspectives on our work, studio process, thinking we admire, and creativity as it manifests in the world at large.
